The Volunteer Matching Program matches newly arrived newcomers with established Canadians who volunteer to provide assistance in the form of friendship and social support during the time newcomers are adjusting and adapting to life in Canada. This friendship will help newcomers understand the culture and values in their new country. The goal of this program is to ease the transition for newcomers and to provide family time between volunteers and newcomers.
